Making Monday Friday
The week has brought many reasons to be grateful. One item that kept entering my mind was something that I didn't expect to find its way to my heart as something to be thankful for. During this last week I have thought about how lucky I am to have a job in this time where many others may not. I am grateful that I am able to work and enjoy the experiences that it brings. I may not enjoy every experience of angry clients but the growth it provides me within my professional life has been something to be grateful for. It may sound cheesy or just like pure fluff, but lets be honest I need to be grateful for anything that can help me get my student loans paid off! Speaking of which I am willing to wash your windows for payments on my student loan.... Not only am I glad that I have a paycheck but I am also grateful for the people I work with. I have never had a job where I enjoy being around the people as much as I do now. There may be moments throughout the day where I may think I want to strangle the person sitting next to me with my phone cord or that I wish I could see the person I was talking to so I could smack them in the face with my keyboard, but who doesn't occasionally experience the case of the Mondays. It is a matter of turning these situations around and making it a better experience for yourself. Everyone has ups and downs but only you have the power to control your attitude. With the arrival of a new year it is my goal to turn every case of the Mondays into a Friday.

Our Trip to Cedar City
Well it all started with us squeezing into the rent-a-clown car which happened to be a PT cruizer, man did we look sexy! 5 hours of a luxurious ride later we arrived in Cedar where Eileen, Beevie and I went to the Shakespeare festival and shopped a bit. One of the more luxurious hotels we have stayed in, this time no leaking sinks, flooding toliets or burnt hotel rooms. It ended up being great fun and just the form of relaxation we were looking for.

In your efforts of weekly gratitude, It reminded me a YouTube video of random New Yorker and what they are grateful for... Maybe you can steal some of their responses.:) (Especially mac and cheese, I mean who isn't grateful for that?)
